SJI DECLARES QUARTERLY DIVIDEND


    FOLSOM, N.J. -- South Jersey Industries, Inc. today declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.365 for the second quarter of 2000. SJI’s dividend is payable July 3, 2000 to shareholders of record at the close of business June 9, 2000. This is SJI’s 49th consecutive year paying dividends in either cash or stock.
