FOLSOM, N.J. -- South
Jersey Industries and South Jersey Gas recently reorganized their
Marketing and Sales departments to enhance the companies' abilities
to compete in the energy marketplace. The departmental changes
resulted in the following job transfers and promotions.
At South Jersey Industries,
Joseph M. Scheufele was transferred to director, Market Planning
and Forecasting, South Jersey Industries, from director, Marketing
and Demand Side Management, South Jersey Gas. Scheufele oversees
the company's development and implementation of strategic and
tactical marketing plans. He also monitors and evaluates all market
research activities for South Jersey Industries and its subsidiaries,
South Jersey Gas and South Jersey Energy. Scheufele joined the
company in 1979 and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration
from Rowan University. He resides in Ocean View with his wife,
Dottie.
Denise A. Hurlburt
was transferred to market research and support specialist for
South Jersey Industries from marketing support specialist for
South Jersey Gas. Hurlburt assists in market-share analysis to
establish marketing strategies and objectives. Hurlburt joined
the company in 1995 and holds a bachelor's degree in marketing
from Stockon State College. She resides in Absecon with her husband,
George, and their son.
At South Jersey Gas, Earl
H. Siegman was transferred to vice president, Economic Development,
from vice president, Major Accounts. Siegman now facilitates the
transition of other managerial/office personnel into select professional,
community-based and economic development organizations. Siegman
joined South Jersey Gas in 1987 and resides in Marlton with his
wife, Lucy.
Lawrence P. Lhulier was promoted to director, Gas Sales, from manager, Special Projects. Lhulier oversees gas sales in South Jersey Gas' industrial, commercial and residential markets. He also identifies opportunities to introduce new products and services which enhance the company's portfolio. A South Jersey Gas employee since 1981, Lhulier resides in Linwood with his wife, Joan, and their children.
Samuel J. Valora was elevated to general manager, Industrial and Commercial Sales from manager, Major Accounts. Valora oversees the sales and service activities of South Jersey Gas' industrial and commercial customers. Valora joined the company in 1986 and holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Widner University. He resides in Sewell with his wife, Diane, and their two sons.
Bruce S. Grossman was transferred to manager, Energy Programs, from manager, Retail Sales. Grossman plans, schedules and supervises the activities of the comprehensive resources analysis of South Jersey Gas energy programs. An employee since 1978, Grossman holds a master's degree in public policy from Rutgers University. He resides in Cherry Hill with his wife, Karen, and their three children.
