Supervisor, Customer Administrative Services

Your responsibilities include: Reviewing and analyzing Large Commercial Accounts billing to ensure accuracy an compliance with the company’s tariff; reconciling G/L accounts for industrial customers and marketers; coordinate billing information with multiple internal departments; evaluating outside payment agencies, monitor their performance and make recommendations on new vendors as necessary; develop departmental training agenda and train employees on responsibilities of their position; maintain Customer Accounting Procedures Manual; ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as it relates to customer billing/accounting.

Database Administrator

The incumbent is expected to have the following:

• Responsible for installation, maintenance, and technical support of Microsoft SQL and Oracle database systems and other related vendor products.

• Responsible for problem resolution, database configuration, capacity planning, performance tuning, and day to day database operations.

• Assist in the selection of new database systems including design/redesign/creation/integration, feasibility studies, impact analysis, design and implementation of one or two way automated data conversion functions, data loading, and reduction of redundant data.

• Performs feasibility studies and cost estimates in response to user requests.

• Administers the technical design, testing, and implementation of all databases.

• Ensures test procedures are defined, documented, and implemented for new databases. Ensures backup procedures are defined, documented, and implemented for full database recoveries.

• Provide data base support for VSAM in VSE/ESA environment. Support definition and analysis of VSAM files for both the CIC and Batch systems. Knowledge of and experience with VSE JCL, CICS, ICCF preferred.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in database administration; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Knowledge of the currently installed database system and current processing environment is required.

• A demonstrated knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Normalization techniques.
