Elizabethtown Gas Recognized by American Gas Association for Safety Performance

UNION, N.J. – April 3, 2020 – Elizabethtown Gas, a subsidiary of SJI (NYSE: SJI), was recognized today by the American Gas Association as a 2019 Industry Leader Accident Prevention.

Utilities recognized with this distinction have a Days Away Restricted or Transferred (DART) rate below the industry average within their peer group. Elizabethtown Gas is one of only five medium-large local gas distribution companies in the nation to achieve this recognition.
