South Jersey Gas Transfers Appliance Service Business Forming Area’s Largest Local Service Company
FOLSOM, N.J. - - South Jersey Industries announced that the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities approved the transfer of its highly successful appliance service business from South Jersey Gas to a new, non-regulated subsidiary company. The new company, called South Jersey Energy Service Plus, joins other subsidiaries of South Jersey Industries, including South Jersey Gas, South Jersey Energy, Marina Energy and South Jersey Resources Group, in serving the energy-related needs of customers in South Jersey and the region.
According to South Jersey Industries President and Chief Executive Officer, Edward Graham, "Although the name has changed and we will be expanding the services we will offer, Service Plus will maintain the same commitment to service, with the same experienced technicians and high level of quality our customers have come to expect.”

With nearly 50 experienced technicians and installers, Service Plus will now
be the largest local appliance service and installation company in the South
Jersey area. In addition to servicing gas heaters, central air conditioners,
ranges, dryers, water heaters and other gas burning appliances, Service Plus
also installs and replaces heating and air conditioning equipment. Service Plus
will also continue to offer the popular Service Sentry appliance warranty contracts.
