in Globalcon 2005
Energy Experts to Provide Strategies to Reduce Costs at Two Day Conference and
Expo
FOLSOM, N.J. – South Jersey Gas, Marina Energy, LLC and South Jersey Energy all subsidiaries of South Jersey Industries will participate in Globalcon 2005, an energy, power, facility management and technology conference, expo and workshop scheduled for March 23-24 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The two-day event focuses on innovative approaches to controlling energy costs associated with heating, ventilation and air conditioning, and new developments in efficient lighting. The expo is the place to interact with a "who's who" line-up of exhibitors showcasing technologies and equipment designed to cut operating expenses.
SJI companies, which have previously participated in Globalcon, will once again provide experts to discuss strategies to reduce costs, upgrade equipment and improve operational efficiency for commercial, industrial, institutional and government facility energy users. The South Jersey Gas booth [#512] will feature Cheryl Hughes, Regional Sales Manager, Munters Dehumidification Division, who will conduct a 15 minute free workshop on Natural Gas Desiccant Dehumidification. The SJG booth will also provide combined heat and power information.
Marina Energy, taking advantage of the proximity of its largest project to the convention center, will conduct free daily tours of its thermal facility. Tours will depart from the convention center at 4:30 pm on March 23rd and at 11:00 am on March 24th. The Marina thermal facility provides cooling, heating, hot water and electricity to The Borgata Resort. South Jersey Energy provides energy efficient audits, energy management solutions, lighting upgrades and retrofits, HVAC design and installation as well as customized retail energy purchasing. Conference attendees can also learn more about cogeneration and distributed energy opportunities in the deregulated marketplace, power quality issues, energy project financing, thermal distribution systems, maintenance management, as well as new developments in internet-based energy management.
