NJ - South Jersey Gas is holding an essay
contest exclusively for the children of their Energy Savings
Club Members to learn what households are doing to implement
energy efficient measures in their homes.
With the arrival of summer, it’s important for consumers
to implement energy efficient measures to help save on their
monthly energy bills and improve the environment. SJG’s
Energy Savings Club Members have access to a variety of special
offers and tips to help reduce their energy costs while still
keeping comfortable. Consumers can visit SJG’s conservation

and to sign up as an Energy Savings Club Member.
Contest participants are asked to describe in 500 words
or less how and why their family implements energy efficiency
measures in their home. The winner, who will be announced
on Monday, August 13 will receive a $100 American Express
gift card and have their essay along with photo displayed
on SJG’s Web site.
