Folsom, NJ — South Jersey
Energy Service Plus today announced that the company has been
named a preferred contractor for the New Jersey Clean Energy
Program’s Direct Install Program.
“We are proud to help our commercial and industrial
customers become more energy efficient,” said SJESP General
Manger Jay Beckley. “Initiatives like the Direct Install
Program position New Jersey to achieve the ambitious energy
goals set forth in the Energy Master Plan and will help ensure
a sustainable and reliable energy future for our state.”
The Direct Install Program is designed to cut energy costs
at small- to medium-sized facilities by paying 80 percent of
retrofitting costs to replace outdated or obsolete lighting,
HVAC and other operational equipment.
As one of six preferred contactors in the state, SJESP is
the authorized contractor for Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland,
Gloucester and Salem counties and can help small-to medium
sized businesses occupying a commercial facility take advantage
of the Direct Install program.
“This program targets the very backbone of our state
- small and medium businesses,” SJESP Commercial Sales
Representative Robert Senski said. “In addition to demonstrating
a commitment to green and efficient operations, companies that
participate in the program will see an immediate return on
investment through decreased energy costs.”
To be eligible for the program, commercial and industrial
facilities’ peak electrical demand must not have exceeded
200 KW in the past 12 months.
The program addresses a facility’s lighting, HVAC, refrigeration,
natural gas heating equipment, motors and variable frequency
drives. Projects typically are completed within 60 days of
scheduling an Energy Assessment.
Interested business owners can apply for the program by calling
SJESP’s Direct Install hotline at 1-866-720-2555 or emailing
directinstall@sjindustries.com.
