New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Approves Rate Change for South Jersey Gas

FOLSOM, N.J., October 20, 2017 – The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) today approved changes to South Jersey Gas’ base rates to recognize the utility’s prudent and significant infrastructure investments made to maintain the safety and reliability of its natural gas delivery system for customers. This base rate change is the company’s first since 2014 and takes effect November 1.

SOUTH JERSEY GAS FILES TO REDUCE RATES FOR A THIRD YEAR

FOLSOM, N.J., June 1, 2017 – South Jersey Gas, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries, Inc. (NYSE: SJI), today filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities to change two components of the company’s rates that would deliver overall savings to residential customers of $0.80, or 0.6 percent, on their monthly natural gas bills.

South Jersey Gas To Provide $8 Million Bill Credit to Customers

FOLSOM, N.J., May 1, 2017 – South Jersey Gas, a subsidiary of South Jersey Industries, Inc. (NYSE: SJI), is issuing a Basic Gas Supply Service (BGSS) bill credit to residential and small commercial customers totaling $8 million, primarily due to lower than anticipated wholesale gas costs.

South Jersey Gas Files Rate Case with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities

(NYSE: SJI), today filed a petition with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) requesting an increase of approximately $75 million to its base rates to recognize the infrastructure investments made to maintain the safety and reliability of its natural gas delivery system.  This filing is its first since 2013.

SOUTH JERSEY GAS TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION IN PLEASANTVILLE AS PART OF SAFETY AND RELIABILITY ENHANCEMENTS

FOLSOM, NJ, January 13, 2017 – South Jersey Gas wants to advise residents, business owners, and motorists in the City of Pleasantville that work will begin on or about Monday, January 16 (weather permitting) to convert the natural gas infrastructure system from lower to higher pressure throughout the City. South Jersey Gas is performing this work to enhance its infrastructure as part of the Accelerated Infrastructure Replacement Program.
