Atlantic City, NJ, May 8, 2019 – South Jersey Gas customers can now receive $150 instant savings on a smart thermostat when they purchase from the utility’s new online marketplace. The offer equates to a $0 smart thermostat before shipping on select models.
South Jersey Gas Marketplace launched this month with instant rebates on energy-efficient smart thermostats, LED lighting, advanced power strips and water-saving products that can help customers save energy and money all year long.
With just a few clicks, South Jersey Gas customers can save up to $150 on a smart thermostat such as the Nest Learning Thermostat and purchase LED light bulbs starting at 50% off per bulb. No paperwork, no wait, no hassle - just a simple validation process that determines rebate eligibility at the same time a customer enters their payment and shipping information.
The online store with instant, point-of-purchase rebate validation is the first step in a series of new features designed to make it easy for South Jersey Gas customers to take full advantage of the benefits of energy-efficiency and smart home technology to control energy use and costs in their home.
“South Jersey Gas Marketplace is an important milestone in bringing our customers a seamless, integrated experience that enables them to engage with South Jersey Gas and help save energy and money,” says Maureen Minkel, General Manager of Energy Efficiency and Conservation for South Jersey Gas. “The $150 instant rebate on smart thermostats is an exciting and timely opportunity for our customers as we head into the summer cooling season.”
