NJ Publications Honor SJI Leaders on “Power 50” Lists

FOLSOM, NJ, August 2, 2022 – SJI (NYSE:SJI) is pleased to announce that South Jersey Biz has named Mike Renna, president and CEO, SJI, and Melissa Orsen, senior vice president, SJI, and president, SJI Utilities, to its 2022 Power 50 list. The publication also recognized Kevin O’Dowd, who has served on SJI’s Board of Directors since 2020, for his role as co-president/CEO of Cooper University Health Care.
The annual South Jersey Biz Power 50 list recognizes leaders in the state who “embrace their influential positions to make the home we share a better, brighter place.”

In addition, NJBIZ named Orsen to its 2022 Law Power 50 list, marking the fourth consecutive year that the publication has recognized Orsen for her leadership and legal expertise. In her current role, Orsen provides strategic oversight and drives complete alignment of operational excellence across SJI’s collective utility operations. Before joining SJI, she held several leadership positions in state government, including chief of staff to the former lieutenant governor, secretary of state and deputy attorney general.
